Terms of Service — PupCoach

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PupCoach ("the App"), operated by Heijnes Digital ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99250926, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use PupCoach.

2. Service Description

PupCoach is an AI-powered puppy training coach. Users provide puppy breed, age, and training history, and the App generates personalized daily training lessons, tracks progress, and provides emergency behavior guidance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

To use PupCoach, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions

PupCoach offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier includes 1 lesson per day and basic tracking. The Pro subscription includes 5 lessons per day and full access to all features. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Prices are displayed in the App before purchase. Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. A 7-day free trial is available for the Pro subscription. Refund policies are subject to the respective platform's terms.

5. Content Ownership

Content ownership in PupCoach is governed by the following terms:

  • Your input — You retain ownership of the puppy data and training preferences you provide
  • Generated content — Training lessons generated by AI are provided for your personal use
  • Our technology — Heijnes Digital retains all rights to the underlying AI technology, breed database, and software
  • Training data — Aggregated, anonymized training effectiveness data may be used to improve the service

6. Content Guidelines

When using PupCoach, you agree not to:

  • Misuse the AI chat for non-training purposes
  • Attempt to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Provide deliberately false information about your puppy
  • Use the service to promote animal cruelty or harmful training methods

We reserve the right to refuse generation of any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.

7. AI Disclaimer

Training lessons in PupCoach are generated using artificial intelligence. While based on established dog training principles, they are not a substitute for professional dog training or veterinary advice. Results may vary based on individual puppies. Consult a professional for serious behavioral issues. Generated content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the service
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures or access controls
  • Use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense your access to the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PupCoach, including but not limited to the app design, logos, icons, graphics, user interface, AI models, and underlying software, are the exclusive property of Heijnes Digital and are protected by international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the service without our explicit written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heijnes Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use PupCoach. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of PupCoach shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of PupCoach after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using the service.
